On Friday February 8th the Chinese scientific community of Wageningen, working and studying at Wageningen University, celebrated the Chinese New Year.

Folkcorn was invited to come and play in an informal setting and celebrate this event with Chinese scientists and teachers. It was a happy event in a relaxed atmosphere and next to playing early Dutch and Flemish folkmusic Folkcorn learned how to make and eat dumplings. In exchange we taught our hosts how to do a traditional Dutch folkdance.  How we'd love to do all this in China!
