At the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in May 2016, the Los Angeles-based band the Story Wrens performed The Three Lads of Rosendaal, a historical Dutch song originally recorded as De drie gesellen uit Roosendaal by the group Folkcorn on their CD Wie sal dan (2010). The musical director of the Story Wrens, Mark Sellin, loved the story and vocal arrangement and set about translating the text into English. The Story Wrens reset the arrangement to their voices and instrumentation and performed it. Chording and vocal arrangement ©Jitze Kopinga, Folkcorn, were used by permission. Here is their fine performance on youtube .
